1. Outlook Express transfer and sync that you shall simply love!
If you are like most anyone these days, you have Outlook Express as a default email client.
For all its advantages, flexibility, and ease of use, the program has one weakness – absence
of an Export/Import facility that could be accessible to ordinary users. Of
course, this weakness is not felt and doesn’t bother us until we come across certain situations.
Let’s say, for example, you have bought a new desktop PC, or a laptop. Over the years, your
Outlook Express has accumulated a great deal of email messages that you want to transfer to your new
machine. And you want to transfer all this in all its entity, together with mail accounts, rules, and
other settings. Unfortunately, Outlook Express transfer has always been a far daunting task to complete
for ordinary users. Until now…
Auto Outlook Express Backup removes all complexities from Outlook Express transfer. If you are moving to a
new system or doing a clean install, or want to sync two Outlook clients on two machines, this software is
a real godsend. Not only does it transfer email messages, but also the records of your Address Book, account
settings, signatures, the list of blocked senders, message rules, stationeries, Outlook Express settings, and
Internet Explorer favorites. The program allows you to transfer them all at once, or selectively, picking only
those you need.
Figure 1: Not only does it transfer email messages, but also the records of your Address Book, account settings,
signatures, the list of blocked senders, message rules, stationeries...
The best thing in Auto Outlook Express Backup is its total simplicity. Once you have specified what you would like
to transfer, the software does Outlook Express transfer automatically, saving all data as a single backup file,
which may be protected by a password and encrypted using a strong AES encryption algorithm. The file may also
contain comments provided by you. The backup file has no size limitations and may be limited only by the amount
of free space on your hard drive. You can save it to a floppy, CD or any other removable media and restore to a
new machine. That’s, of course, if Auto Outlook Express Backup is installed on it.
Outlook Express transfer can be either manual or scheduled to run quietly in the background at specified time intervals
(everyday, every two, three or more days). You can easily specify the desired interval in the built-in Scheduler facility.
The software is compatible with Outlook Express 5.0 and higher and runs under Microsoft Windows 9X/ME/NT4.0/W2K/XP. Auto
Outlook Express Backup offers Outlook Express transfer and synchronization that you shall definitely love for its
simplicity! No kidding, just give it a try!

3. A step-by-step guide to Outlook Express transfer
Sample:
Let’s assume you want to transfer your Outlook Express data, both messages and settings, from a desktop PC to a laptop.
With Auto Outlook Express Backup, you can do it with ease. Simply install this software on both computers (one license
allows you to install the program on two machines). Now, you are ready for backup and transfer of Outlook Express.
Let’s get started!
- Launch Auto Outlook Express Backup on your desktop PC. You will see a simplistic, wizard-style interface with
three big buttons on the toolbar – Backup, Restore, and Scheduler.
- Click on the Backup. It opens the backup section, where you should specify the identity for backup, name and
location of the backup file, authorization password and, of course, items to back up. You choose them simply by
checking the appropriate checkboxes. You may select to restore messages, Address Book, accounts, signatures, blocked
senders, rules, stationeries, Outlook express Settings, and Internet Explorer favorites.
- As soon as you have customized the backup settings, you can click on the “Backup” button. And voila! All specified
data is extracted in a blink of an eye and saved as a single backup file. Now, Outlook Express data is ready for
transfer to the laptop.
- Save the backup file to a floppy disk, or any other removable media like a CD, or a flash drive in order to bring
and restore it to your notebook.
- Launch Auto Outlook Express Backup on your notebook.
- Click on the Restore button. It opens the restore section, where you should again specify the identity, name and
location of the backup file, authorization password and items to back up. You can choose them all or selectively.
- Click on the Restore button to start Outlook Express transfer. In a few seconds the transfer is over and Outlook
Express on both computers is in sync. Congratulations!
